Privacy Policy
SparkBin is a residential trash cart cleaning service in Wentzville, Missouri. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
The short version. We collect what you type into the quote form and nothing else. We use it to give you a price and to run your service. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and this website sets no cookies and runs no trackers of any kind.
What we collect
Only what you enter in the quote form on our home page:
- Your name — so we know who we are talking to.
- Your phone number and email address — to send you the quote and reach you about your service. You choose which one to give us; at least one is required or we have no way to reply.
- Your street address — to confirm your house is on our route and to know where to send the truck.
- How many carts you have and how often you want service — to calculate your price.
- Anything you write in the notes field — optional, and entirely up to you what goes in it.
That is the complete list. We do not ask for and have no use for your date of birth, your social security number, or any payment card details on this website.
What this website does not do
Stated plainly, because most privacy policies bury this:
- No cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else.
- No trackers, pixels, or third-party scripts. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no chat widget.
- No accounts and no passwords. There is nothing to log into.
- No profiling and no automated decisions about you.
If we ever add analytics, we will update this page before turning it on, and this section will say so.
Where your form goes
When you submit the quote form, the information travels to Formspree, which delivers it to our email inbox. That provider handles the message in transit and is bound by its own privacy terms. We do not use it for any purpose other than delivering your request to us.
Text messages
Our service includes a reminder the night before your cleaning. That reminder is a text message, so it only goes out if you check the consent box on the quote form. Checking that box is optional and is not a condition of service — if you prefer, we will call or email instead.
Reply STOP to any message to stop them immediately. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We do not send marketing blasts; the only texts you will get are about your own scheduled service.
Who else sees it
Nobody, with three narrow exceptions:
- The email and form providers that carry the message, described above.
- Our payment processor, if you become a customer — it handles your card details directly and we never see or store the full card number.
- If the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with data brokers, lead resellers, or advertisers. We are a small local route business; your address is worth more to us as a customer than as a record to sell.
How long we keep it
If you ask for a quote and do not become a customer, we delete your request within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your service and billing records for as long as you are with us and for 7 years afterward, because tax law requires it.
How to have it deleted
Call us at (636) 557-4077 or write to care@sparkbin.us and ask. We will remove what we are not required by law to keep, and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct something that is wrong. Same phone, same email.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type in the form is encrypted on its way to us. We keep the number of people with access to customer records as small as the business allows. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than promise otherwise.
Children
This service is sold to adults who own or rent a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child sent us something, call us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we will update the date at the top. Changes that affect what we collect or who we share it with will be announced to active customers by email or text before they take effect.
